This beach located in the Noosa National Park on the walking track between the parks entrance and Hells Gates changes between sand and large granite pebbles, depending on storms and tides.
At high tide the beach all but disappears, however in recent times due to storm activity there is a great deal more sand.
The walking track is high above the beach affording excellent views and photo opportunities. There are several tracks down to the beach that lead to perfect spots for a picnic lunch, a break from the walk and perhaps a swim. The beach however is isolated and can be quite dangerous so care must be taken if you do decide to swim.
